Khaled El Drandaly, the club's board member and the head of Al Ahly's delegation to Sudan, handed Adam Abdallah, Al Merrikh SC’s President, the club’s shield and pennant, on the sidelines of their meeting on Friday.

The head of Al Ahly's delegation to Sudan thanked Al Merrikh SC’s President for their efforts to ease Al Ahly’s mission in Sudan, which reflects the strong relationship between the two nations.

Al Merrikh SC’s President welcomed El Drandaly, saying that his team’s delegation in Cairo was highly received by Al Ahly officials and they were keen to do the same with Al Ahly’s delegation in Sudan, in line with the tight relationship between the two clubs.

Abdallah concluded by saying that he hopes to pay a visit to Al Ahly and meet the club officials to boost the cooperation between the two clubs as Al Ahly is a notable icon for Arab and African football.
