The draw of the inaugural edition of the EPL Cup was held on Monday in Cairo.

Al Ahly were drawn in Group B alongside El Gouna, Ismaily, Al Mokawloon Al Arab, Smouha and the National Bank of Egypt.

The inaugural edition sees the participation of the 18 Egyptian Premier League clubs drawn into three groups, with each group containing six teams.

The three group winners will advance to the semi-final alongside the best second-placed team.
