Al Ahly’s women’s basketball team will look to maintain their perfect start in the 29th Women’s Basketball League Africa (WBLA) when they face Rwanda’s REG BBC in the second round of the group stage.
The game tips off at 19:30 local time (GMT+2) on Sunday, at Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Hall, with Al Ahly targeting a win that would move them closer to a quarter-final berth.
Al Ahly are hosting the tournament from 5 to 15 December.
The Red Eagles opened their WBLA 2025 campaign with a commanding 91-62 victory over Cote d’Ivoire’s Friends Basketball Association on Friday.
Al Ahly were drawn in Group A alongside REG BBC, Friends Basketball Association and Angola’s Sporting Clube Luanda.
