Mahmoud El Khatib, Al Ahly's president, received on Sunday Daniel Gordo, Al Ahly men's handball team head coach, Rafael Capote and Acacio Marques, Al Ahly men's handball team players. 

The trio will travel to their countries and will not be able to attend the club's ceremony to honour the men's handball team after achieving the African Super Cup title and booking their place in the IHF Super Globe. 

El Khatib praised the efforts of the coach and his players and handed them the club's emblem and shield in recognition of their achievement.
