Mahmoud El Khatib, Al Ahly president, received on Monday Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani, the president of Qatar Football Association (QFA), who paid a visit to the team’s training session.

El Khatib congratulated the QFA’s president on the successful organization of the 2021 FIFA Arab Cup, which was played in Qatar between 30 November and 18 December with the participation of 16 Arab nations.

Al Ahly’s president said that the FIFA Arab Cup was a successful prelude for the 2022 FIFA World Cup and gave very positive signs on Qatar’s ability to organize an unprecedented edition of the World Cup.

Sheikh Hamad attended part of the team’s training session as our team continues their preparation for the CAF Super Cup match.
