Al Ahly women’s volleyball team booked their place in the African Clubs Championship final with a 3-1 win over Tunisia’s Club Feminin de Carthage in Tuesday’s semi-final.
Al Ahly SC are hosting the continental tournament from April 11-24.
The match was played at Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Hall, where Al Ahly advanced thanks to strong serving and powerful attacking.
Carthage took the opening set 25-20, but Al Ahly responded to win the second 25-22.
The Red Eagles then took control, claiming the third set 25-16 before sealing victory with a 25-22 win in the fourth.
Al Ahly will face Kenya Commercial Bank in Thursday’s final.
