Al Ahly’s women’s first volleyball team have booked their place in the African Clubs Championship semifinals after defeating Cameroon’s Litto Volleyball 3-0 in Monday’s quarterfinal.
Al Ahly SC is hosting the continental tournament from 11 to 24 April.
The match was held at Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Hall, where the Red Eagles secured qualification thanks to strong preparation and powerful attacking.
Al Ahly took the first set 25-17, then extended their dominance with a 25-14 win in the second set following an impressive attacking display. They sealed the third set and the match with a 25-16 victory.
They are scheduled to face Tunisia’s Carthage team in Tuesday’s semifinal.
