Al Ahly were drawn in Group A of the CAF Champions League group stage alongside Congo's AS Vita Club, Tanzania's Simba SC, and Sudan's Al Merrikh SC.

The Red Eagles enter this season's group stage looking forward to defending our title and securing the 10th CAF Champions League title in our history. 

Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced the dates of the group stage matches as we will begin our journey in the group stage at home when we host Al Merrikh SC in February.
