Al Ahly sent an official letter to the Egyptian Football Association asking for an immediate intervention from the association to put an end to all the unquestionable mistakes by the referees which denied Al Ahly from our rights in the previous games.

In our letter to the EFA, Al Ahly stated that the match referees and the VAR officials committed mistakes that affected us deeply in our previous matches.

Mistakes such as: disallowing rightly scored goals, not awarding us clear penalties and avoiding the appointment of international referees played a role in halting Al Ahly’s progression in the league.

Additionally, Al Ahly stated that it’s not the club’s norm to comment on the performance of the referees. However, the recent mistakes of the referees in our matches against Wadi Degla SC and the National Bank of Egypt SC affected the final result of both matches.

Therefore, causing Al Ahly to send a letter to the EFA in order to make sure that all clubs receive equal rights.

Lastly, Al Ahly asked the EFA to intervene in order to put an end to all these mistakes and to implement equal rules on all the clubs to guarantee that the league will be continued in the best possible manner.
