Al Ahly’s striker, Marwan Mohsen joined part of the team’s training session on Sunday, which took place at Gymkhana Club’s pitch.

Head of Al Ahly’s medical staff, Dr. Ahmed Abu Abla stated that Mohsen took part in the team’s fitness exercises and football drills.

“Al Ahly’s coaching staff, headed by Pitso Mosimane preferred to rest him from the team’s training match in order to avoid injury recurrence,” Abu Abla added.

Moreover, Abu Abla explained that resting Mohsen from the team’s training match will give him time to recover and fully join the team’s training session tomorrow.

The Red Eagles will face Simba SC in the second round of the CAF Champions League group stage at 3:00 PM on Tuesday.
