Pitso Mosimane, Al Ahly’s head coach, decided to give his players a 24-hour rest from training on Sunday.
Al Ahly achieved an important 2-0 win over Mamelodi Sundowns in the first leg of the CAF Champions League quarter-finals.
The second leg is scheduled on Saturday 22 May in South Africa.
