Sami Komsan, Al Ahly's assistant coach, spoke about our 2-1 victory over Wadi Degla in the Egyptian Premier League tonight at Al Ahly WE Al Salam Stadium. 

“It’s very important to be back on the top of the table. It was a difficult match as we were facing a tough opponent. Also, we play every three days, which further complicated the game on us.”

“Coach Mosimane and captain Sayed keep on stressing the importance of this phase of the season. The league is very important for us, as all our opponents will be looking forward to winning to avoid the relegation zone or to secure a spot in the top four.”  

“During the break, Mosimane told the players to focus in the final third and the players were able to do so in the second half, as Sherif and Kahraba were able to score.”

“Most of our goals are a result of our training sessions, such as today’s second goal.” 

“Finally, Mosimane always depends on all the players, as he believes that the rotation policy gives more chances to all the players.”
