Al Ahly’s Board of Directors Hold Meetings with Al Ahly Companies

Al Ahly’s premises in Gezira witnessed a busy day for our board of directors. 

The club’s board members, headed by president Mahmoud El Khatib, held meetings with Al Ahly’s companies: Al Ahly Football Company, Al Ahly Sports Facilities Company, Al Ahly Sports Services Company, to discuss their plans after the official launching of the three companies on Tuesday. 

Dr. Saad Shalaby, Al Ahly’s acting executive director, said that our board of directors held a meeting with Al Ahly Football Company’s board; Yassin Mansour, president, Mostafa Mourad Fahmy, vice president, Hossam Ghaly, board member, and Amr Shahin, executive director. 

Al Ahly Football Company’s board presented their plan for the next year which is divided into four stages, in addition to presenting the financial study of the plan. 

Our board of directors also held a meeting with the board of Al Ahly Sports Facilities Company, to discuss the company’s strategy for the next period. 

The company’s board discussed recruiting some of the nation’s prominent figures to the company’s structure as well as the bidding process for the naming rights for Al Ahly Stadium, which is an unprecedented step in the history of the sports industry in Egypt. 

Dr. Shalaby added that several companies are ready to submit their bids, which reflects the value of Al Ahly’s brand. 

Also, our board of directors held another meeting with the board of Al Ahly Sports Services Company to discuss their plan for the next six months. 

Dr. Shalaby stated that some of the company’s tasks are already in progress, including the trip of our men’s handball team to participate in the African Cup Winners' Cup and our table tennis team’s journey to Jordan to participate in the Arab Table Tennis Clubs Championship, noting that the company will provide several services for the club’s fans and members.
