Augustí Bosch, Al Ahly’s basketball head coach, spoke after our men’s basketball team were crowned champions of the Arab Club Basketball Championship. 

The Eagles were able to seal the title after defeating Kuwait SC 78-66 in the final minutes of the encounter.  

In his post-match interview, Bosch commented on the team’s journey in the tournament and revealed his ambitions for the remainder of the season. 

“I’m very proud to help Al Ahly win the title, as the team used to reach the final but they were unable to come out victorious in the previous occasions.”

“Of course winning the Arab Club Basketball Championship will motivate us to win more titles in the upcoming period.”

“Finally, we have a lot of important competitions coming up and we will do our best in order to win all of them.”

Our men’s basketball team was able to win the competition in style, as they were able to win all of our games in the tournament.
