Mohamed Hany, Al Ahly’s defender, spoke following the team’s 4-1 victory over Smouha in the Egyptian Premier League.

Here is what he had to say about the game:

“The style of play suits our qualities. Every one has an equal chance to play and that is up to the coaching staff. I would like to congratulate Karim Fouad on making his debut. This means a lot to him.  Ammar also got a chance to play in today’s game.

We deal with each phase on its own. We managed to complete this phase very well, as we are now at the top of the league.

I’m very happy about the fans’ return. Football is for the fans. This season is completely different after the return of the fans. Our fans are very special to us.

I wish our players, who will head to their national teams, all the best of luck in the upcoming period. As for the rest of us, we will continue working after the break.”
