Sayed Abdelhafiz, the club’s director of football, spoke on the team’s preparations for the CAF Champions League final on Friday.

In an exclusive interview with us, Abdelhafiz talked about the importance of playing with character and confidence during the final and sent a special message to the fans.

“I have full confidence in the team that they will play with a character that represents Al Ahly as the defending champions of the competition and as the only team to be in the final for the third consecutive season.”

“I totally trust the players and I know that they will be fully concentrated on the game in order to win the title and accomplish a historic achievement.”

“As for my message to the fans, I call on all of them to accept the club’s invitation and support the team from the stadium on Monday.”

Al Ahly’s football first team will face Wydad AC in the CAF Champions League final at Mohammed V Stadium on Monday at 9:00 PM.
