Diana Carolina, Al Ahly’s new Puerto Rican volleyball player, expressed her happiness after joining the Red Eagles on a one-year contract on Tuesday.

In an exclusive interview with us, Diana talked about her ambitions for the next season and spoke about what it meant for her to be representing the African Club of the Century. 

“I’m very happy to be representing the biggest club in Africa and the Middle East. It’s a pleasure for me to be playing at a club with such history and success.”

“I can’t wait to play my first match in the red jersey and I’m sure that we will be able to do something great together with the rest of my teammates.”

“The negotiations were very smooth and professional. I’m happy to be here and excited to see what the future unfolds.”
