Marcel Koller spoke to the media on Friday afternoon in the build-up to the first leg of the CAF Champions League final.

Our Swiss coach discussed the team's preparations for the match and the team's ambition to defend the Champions League title.

“Facing Esperance this year is completely different from last season, the final is completely different from any knock out matches," 

Koller pointed out that he has watched five Esperance matches so far and that the Tunisian team has improved a lot this year. 

“Tomorrow's match requires intense focus from everyone. We will do our best in the two matches to achieve the title."

He added that both teams have the same chances, and although experience plays a major role, there is no advantage for any team in the final.

The Reds are set to play the first leg of the CAF Champions League final against Esperance on Saturday night at Stade Olympique Hammadi Agrebi.
