Al Ahly defeated El Geish 3_2 on penalties after the regular time and extra-time ended with a 1-1 draw.

On Saturday night, our Eagles secured the treble for the second time in our history after adding the Cup title to the Egyptian League and CAF Champions League titles.

Our Road to the Title in Numbers

1 - We played five matches, won four matches in regular time and we held only a one draw tonight against El Gaish, but at the end we won the match on penalties.

2 - 36 players participated in our campaign to the title.

3 - Hussein El Shahat is the only player to participate in the five matches and he is followed by Yasser Ibrahim, Mohamed Magdy Afsha and Hamdy Fathy who participated in four matches.

4 - Our attacking line scored 10 goals on the way to the title.

5 - Walid Soliman, Walid Azarro and Junior Ajayi are our top goalscorers in the competition with 2 goals for each one of them.

6 - We did not keep a clean sheet throughout the competition as we conceded five goals, one goal in each match.
