Al Ahly’s football first team decided to give our players an 8-day rest following the team’s 3-1 victory over Al Merrikh SC on Friday.
Our coaching staff gave the players that vacation, as we are currently heading to an international break, where our Egyptian national team will face Senegal in the 2022 World Cup Qualifiers.
The Red Eagles are expected to return back to training on 27 February to start preparing for our game against Al Hilal in the sixth fixture of the CAF Champions League group stage.
