Raouf Abdelkader, Al Ahly’s director of sports activities, announced that Al Ahly received an official invitation from the African Handball Confederation to face Zamalek in the African Handball Super Cup game.
Abdelkader added that he discussed the matter with Tarek Mahrous, the head coach of the men’s handball team, who accepted the invitation.
The African Handball Super Cup match will be played on 18 August in Egypt, as both teams are from the same country.
