Al Ahly’s Director of Football Sayed Abdelhafiz stated that winning the Egyptian Cup title is very important for the club especially that the last time we won the title was in 2017.
Our players managed to achieve the treble today after defeating Tala’ea El Gaish SC 3-2 on penalties, as the regular time and extra time ended in a 1-1 draw.
“Al Ahly managed to play a great game today against Talae'a El Gaish SC which led us to win the Egyptian Cup title and achieve the treble.”
“The team will now prepare for the upcoming period in order to compete in all the upcoming tough competitions.”
Lastly, Abdelhafiz praised the performances of Al Ahly’s winger Mahmoud Kahraba believing that he is one of the crucial players in the team.
