Handball: Al Ahly drawn in Group B for 2026 IHF Men's Super Globe

Al Ahly men's handball team have been drawn into Group B of the 2026 IHF Men's Super Globe, the Club World Championship, which will be held in Egypt's New Administrative Capital in September.

The Red Eagles will face Germany's Füchse Berlin, Kuwait's Burgan SC, and the winner of the preliminary-round clash between Hungary's Veszprém and Australia's Sydney University.

The tournament will feature 10 clubs. Six teams have qualified directly for the group stage, while four others will compete in the preliminary round for the remaining two berths.

Under the tournament format, the top two teams from each group will advance to the semifinals, while the second-placed teams will play for the bronze medal.

Teams finishing third and fourth in their groups will compete in classification matches for places fifth through eighth, while the losers of the preliminary-round ties will contest the ninth-place playoff.
