Al Ahly form committee to review proposed amendments to club’s charter

The Board of Directors of Al Ahly, in their meeting on Wednesday at the Sheikh Zayed branch, decided to form a legal committee chaired by Captain Mahmoud El Khatib, the club’s president.

The committee will be responsible for drafting a proposal to amend the club’s charter in line with the recent revisions to Law No. 71 of 2017, as amended by Law No. 171 of 2025.

The proposed amendments will be presented for approval at a special General Assembly meeting.

The committee will include the following members:

Dr. Saad Shalaby, Executive Director
Counselor Shady Shawky Al-Barqouqi, Legal Advisor to the Board of Directors (Vice Chair)
 Mohamed Osman, Legal Advisor to the Club
Emad Helmy, Financial Director Mohamed Fathy,
General Supervisor of Legal Affairs

Additionally, the committee will include legal experts who previously contributed to drafting the club’s original charter.
