Al Ahly’s ordinary general assembly has delegated authority to the board of directors to handle the agenda items after failing to meet the required legal quorum at its second meeting, held on Saturday.
The board will subsequently submit the club’s budget to the relevant administrative authority.
The judicial committee overseeing the general assembly announced that only 1,858 members attended the meeting, falling short of the required quorum of 10% of voting members or 5,000 members, whichever is lower.
