Al Ahly men’s basketball team booked their place in the Basketball Africa League (BAL) semifinals after defeating Senegal’s ASC Ville de Dakar 87-76 in the second game of their quarterfinal series on Sunday.
The match was played at Kigali Arena in Rwanda’s capital, Kigali, with Al Ahly taking control from the outset to secure the victory.
The Red Eagles entered the game needing to overturn a three-point deficit after losing the first leg 93-90 to ASC Ville de Dakar, and succeeded in doing so to advance to the semifinals.
