Sayed Abdelhafiz, Al Ahly's director of football, stated that Al Ahly’s delegation in South Africa tested negative for COVID-19 ahead of the journey to Qatar to face RS Berkane of Morocco in the CAF Super Cup on 28 May.
The delegation underwent a COVID-19 test on Saturday morning and the result came out negative.
Al Ahly’s delegation will leave South Africa on Sunday morning, heading to Qatar to play the CAF Super Cup.
