Al Ahly's board of directors, headed by president Mahmoud El Khatib, would like to express their sincere thanks and gratitude to president Abdel Fattah El-Sisi for his constant support to Egyptian sports and all its institutions, which helped Al Ahly obtain the needed approvals to establish Al Ahly Stadium in Sheikh Zayed City.

The board of directors fully appreciates the great support of president El-Sisi to the Egyptian sports institutions to remove all obstacles which they face in order to ensure their development, in light of Egypt’s astonishing renaissance.

Finally, Al Ahly’s board of directors renewed the pledge to exert their maximum effort to support the nation's institutions and to contribute to achieving all objectives that serve the country’s interests and to keep raising Egypt's flag high in all international events.
