The plane, carrying Al Ahly's delegation from South Africa to Qatar, touched down at Aswan Airport for fuel supplies.
The Red Eagles will have a one-hour transit in Aswan before continuing their journey to Qatar.
We will face Morocco's RS Berkane on Friday 28 May in the CAF Super Cup in Qatar.
