Al Ahly's Delegation Departs for Egypt

Al Ahly's football first-team delegation left Hamad International Airport, heading to Egypt after the end of the 2020 FIFA Club World Cup.

The Red Eagles won the bronze medal in the tournament after defeating Brazil’s Palmeiras 3-2 on penalties.

Al Ahly played 15 matches throughout the club's six appearances in the tournament, equalizing Auckland City FC’s tally, while Real Madrid CF come in second place with 12 games.

Moreover, the African champions secured five victories in the FIFA Club World Cup to become the African team with the most wins in the competition's history. 

Also, we sit in third place behind Real Madrid, who won ten matches, and FC Barcelona, who won seven matches.
