Mahmoud El Khatib, Al Ahly’s president, sent a letter on Saturday to Gianni Infantino, the president of FIFA, thanking him for his warm gesture of congratulating the club on winning the bronze medal in the 2021 FIFA Club World Cup in the UAE.
In his letter to Infantino, El Khatib expressed his appreciation for such a gesture and invited the president of FIFA to visit the club.
Also, El Khatib highlighted the great efforts of FIFA representatives and the FCWC’s organizing committee to ensure a successful organization of the tournament.
