Beckham: Winning the Treble Puts More Responsibility on Us

Our player Ahmed Beckham spoke following our 1-0 victory over AS SONIDEP in the first leg of the CAF Champions League round of 32. 

“The game was very hard due to the pitch’s bad quality, the bad weather, and also the several injuries which hit the team.” 

“These games always witness surprises, so our coaching staff demanded us to achieve a good result and to avoid being injured. We succeeded to accomplish our mission in Niger and we are waiting for the home game here in Egypt to qualify for the group stages.” 

“I am so glad that our coaching staff gave me the chance to start the game, and I can play in different positions according to the team’s needs.” 

“We will face several challenges in the new season and in all the tournaments, especially after winning the treble last season which added more responsibility on us.”
