El Darandaly: We Respect Al Merrikh SC

Khaled El Drandaly, the club's board member and the head of Al Ahly's delegation to Sudan, spoke about the warm reception that Al Ahly received in Sudan and the team’s preparations for our next game against Al Merrikh SC of Sudan in the CAF Champions League group stage.

“I would like to thank Ambassador Hossam Eissa, Egypt's Ambassador to Sudan, and all the embassy's officials for their efforts  since our arrival.” 

“We did not face any obstacles here in Sudan, as we have been coordinating everything with Egypt's embassy and Al Merrikh SC’s officials.’

"We respect Sudan's Al Merrikh SC and I appreciate their warm reception. Ali Abeshr, Al Merrikh SC’s Vice President, was keen to welcome Al Ahly’s delegation at Khartoum International Airport.”
