Al Ahly President Mahmoud El Khatib congratulated Al Ahly women's handball team after defeating Zamalek SC 27-20 to achieve the Egyptian Cup title. 

El Khatib attended the game at 6 October hall and watched the victory of our handball ladies over our arch-rivals. 

Al Ahly president praised the heroic performance of our ladies in the match and their determination to secure the title.

El Khatib revealed his appreciation to the efforts of Al Ahly players throughout the Egyptian Cup campaign, adding that he trusts Al Ahly players and their ability to maintain the winning spirit in the upcoming challenges. 

El Khatib stated that winning the cup title puts extra responsibility on the team as they need more efforts and determination to win more titles in the future.
