Mahmoud El Khatib, Al Ahly's president, will not return to Cairo with the team's delegation as he departs for Dubai in the early hours of Saturday to visit his family. 

Al Ahly's delegation is set to return on Saturday to Cairo after a long successful trip to South Africa and Qatar. 

In South Africa, Al Ahly secured qualification to the CAF Champions League semi-finals before heading to Qatar to play the CAF Super Cup, which we won after defeating RS Berkane of Morocco 2-0.
