Mahmoud El Khatib, Al Ahly’s president, received the delegation of the World Federation Karate, which was headed by president Antonio Espinós, on Sunday in the club’s premises in Gezira.
Also, Mohanad Magdy, the club’s board member, took the delegation on a quick tour around the club, during which they had the chance to take memorable pictures with the club’s trophy cabinet.
The delegation’s visit came as part of Al Ahly’s efforts to support the sport and the players, as Giana Farouk, Al Ahly’s karateka, managed to win the bronze medal in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
