El Khatib thanks Al Ahly’s General Assembly members for active participation
Al Ahly Sporting Club president Mahmoud El Khatib has thanked members of the club’s General Assembly for their strong participation in shaping the club’s future and electing a new board of directors for the next four years.
El Khatib said the General Assembly had once again shown “exemplary loyalty, commitment to the club’s interests, and a high level of awareness and responsibility in decision-making.”
He noted that Al Ahly held two General Assembly meetings within a month - the first to align the club’s statutes with Egypt’s Sports Law and the second to elect a new board - underscoring, he said, members’ dedication and active engagement in fulfilling the assembly’s historical role.
El Khatib also thanked the outgoing 2021–2025 board for what he called their efforts and loyalty, acknowledging each member’s contribution to serving the club with the support of the General Assembly.
He extended special thanks to members not included on his new electoral list, praising their understanding of the club’s vision for the next phase and stressing that differing opinions do not undermine Al Ahly’s unity.
“Al Ahly will remain strong through the loyalty of its devoted members and the continued presence of its General Assembly in building the club’s future,” El Khatib said.
