Hamdy El Safy, Al Ahly women’s volleyball team head coach, expressed his happiness after our volleyball ladies were crowned champions of the Egyptian League.

In his post-match interview, El Safy reflected on the team’s achievement and talked about the team’s future ambitions.

“Winning this season’s title tastes different, especially that it was played during a pandemic.”

“Our team exerted their maximum effort throughout the whole season in order to defend the title and maintain Al Ahly’s winning streak in the competition. Of course, these achievements are the result of the board and the fans’ constant support.”

El Safy concluded his interview by stating that the team will fight to win the Egyptian Cup title and secure the double this season.
