El Shenawy: We Managed To Achieve A Historic Treble

Al Ahly’s first team captain Mohamed El Shenawy expressed his happiness following the team’s victory of the Egyptian Cup for the 37th time in the history of the club. 

Our goalkeeper El Shenawy thanked Al Ahly’s board of directors, coaching staff, players, and all of Al Ahly’s fans after the team managed to clinch the Egyptian Cup. 

“We managed to achieve a historic treble in our career with Al Ahly after winning the Egyptian League, CAF Champions League and the Egyptian Cup.”

“We had faith in ourselves during today’s game. We knew that we would be facing a tough opponent and that the game will difficult.”

“We will now start concentrating on the new season in order to make sure that we also maintain Egyptian League title in the next season."
