FIFA named our goalkeeper Mohamed El Shenawy among the top five goalkeepers in Africa, who are leading the ambitions of their nations in the CAF qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup.
FIFA Official website described our 31-year-old goalkeeper as one of the best in the continent and highlighted his career with the Red Eagles including winning the domestic league title in three years in a row.
FIFA also mentioned that El Shenawy was sensational for the Pharaohs in 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, having started the first two Group Stage games and won the Man of the Match award in the opening game against Uruguay.
