Al Ahly’s midfielder Hamdy Fathy will undergo a scan on his elbow on Friday after picking up an elbow injury during Egypt’s game against Kenya in the fifth fixture of the Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers.
Following the end of Egypt’s match, Al Ahly’s Director of Football, Sayed Abdelhafiz was keen to contact Fathy in order to check on the player’s medical condition.
Lastly, Hamdy Fathy’s scan will reveal the number of matches that the player is expected to miss with Al Ahly.
