Al Ahly men’s handball first team secured a commanding 35-17 victory over Kuwait’s Burgan SC in their second match of the 2026 IHF Men’s Club World Championship.
The tournament is being held from 24 September to 1 October, with the world’s top club sides competing for the title.
The Red Eagles delivered a strong performance throughout both halves, dominating proceedings and building a comfortable lead before sealing a comprehensive 35-17 win.
Al Ahly began their campaign with a 31-23 defeat to Hungarian powerhouse Veszprém.
The Egyptian giants will conclude the group stage against Germany’s Füchse Berlin on Tuesday.
