Al Ahly’s goalkeeping coach, Michel Iannacone led an intense training session for our goalkeepers, ahead of the team’s trip to Qatar.
Our goalkeepers: Mohamed El Shenawy, Ali Lotfy, Mostafa Shobeir, and Hamza Alaa performed several technical drills on Friday at El Tetsh Stadium.
The Red Eagles will head to Qatar today in order to compete in the FIFA Club World Cup, where they will be facing Qatar’s Al-Duhail SC in the first round on the 4th of February.
Al Ahly will participate in the FIFA Club World Cup for the sixth time, with our biggest achievement being securing the bronze medal in 2006.
