Komsan: We Had a Good Game against Zamalek 

Sami Komsan, Al Ahly’s assistant coach, spoke about the team’s 1-1 draw against Zamalek in the 21st fixture of the Egyptian Premier League.

In his post-match interview, Komsan stated that today’s game was an important challenge to prepare the players for Saturday’s encounter against Mamelodi Sundowns in the quarter-finals of the CAF Champions League.

“It’s important to have a positive result before Sundowns’ game. We performed well despite facing a tough opponent who had to give their maximum, especially after losing against us in the previous two games.”

“We played better in the second half and had several goal-scoring chances.”
