The Reds started the match with the following line-up:

The first half started with the Reds quickly taking the upper hand of the game by maintaining the ball in our opponent’s half.

It was not until the 9th minute when Walid Soliman opened the score for the Red Eagles after being head to head with the opposition’s goalkeeper.

In the 40th minute, Metwally, who participated for the first time after recovering from his injury, left the pitch due to an injury.

With only 15 minutes to go, Karim Nedved, Al Ahly’s midfielder, entered the game after recovering from his injury, which sidelined him for the entirety of the season.

In the minutes that followed the opposition’s second goal, the Reds looked to score the equalizer and we were able to do so in the 85th minute of the game.

Both teams then looked to score the winning goal, but they were unable to find the net as the referee blew his final whistle.
