Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, called captain Mahmoud El Khatib, Al Ahly’s President, in order to check on our football first team delegation before the team’s departure for South Africa.
In his call with El Khatib, Sobhy wished Al Ahly’s delegation all the best of luck ahead of our decisive encounter against Mamelodi Sundowns in the second leg of the CAF Champions League quarter-finals.
El Khatib then thanked Sobhy and acknowledged the minister’s constant support for Al Ahly.
