Salah Mohsen, Al Ahly’s striker, spoke following the team’s win of the CAF Super Cup on Friday in Doha, Qatar.
In his post-match interview, Mohsen spoke about the importance of winning the competition, as well as addressing his ambitions for the coming period.
“Thank God we were able to win the trophy which was absent for the last 7 years. It's not important who scores what matters the most is that we win.”
“We focus on each trophy at a time. Now we have the League and the CAF Champions League.”
Al Ahly’s duo, Mohamed Sherif and Salah Mohsen, led Al Ahly to a precious 2-0 win over RS Berkane of Morocco 2-0, which crowned the Reds as champions of the CAF Super Cup.
