Yasser Radwan, Al Ahly youth team coach, believes that the promotion of youth players to the first team is a great success to the youth sector in the club. 

Radwan spoke with us about the youth team players’ promotion to the first team, working alongside Michal Prokeš, youth sector manager, and the pre-season preparations.  

“The promotion of youth team players to train with the first team is a great success for us. Training with the first team will give the players much experience and confidence and will motivate their teammates to do their best to have the same chance.” 

“The players who are training with the first team will benefit from this opportunity, which will reflect on their performance with the youth team in the National League.”

“I am so happy to work alongside Prokeš. I always pay attention to his notes and instructions. He adds great value to the youth sector and the players are benefitting from his experience.”

“I do not give much attention to the results of the pre-season matches. I am only concerned about our performance in the matches and correcting the players’ mistakes. I focus on the players’ tactical discipline to ensure they are ready for the league.” 

“The players are doing their best to prove that they deserve to wear Al Ahly jersey.”
