Taher Mohamed Taher, Al Ahly’s winger, expressed his happiness following the team’s win of the CAF Super Cup after defeating RS Berkane of Morocco 2-0.

“We are Al Ahly and we are the biggest team in Africa. It is a big win. We were able to win another continental trophy, which was absent for 7 years.”

“RS Berkane are a strong physical team and we analyzed them very well. We wanted to avoid conceding any goals in the first half and made sure that if we don’t score then we shall not concede.”

“We made sure to press at the start of the game and then we dropped back a little because we were under pressure.”
