Al Ahly’s women’s first volleyball team defeated Mayo Kani of Cameroon 3-0 in their second Group A match of the African Clubs Championship on Thursday.
Al Ahly SC is hosting the continental tournament from April 11-24.
The match took place at 7:00 PM on Thursday in the Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Hall.
The Red Eagles secured the victory with strong blocking and powerful serves, continuing their winning streak in the championship.
Al Ahly led Mayo Kani 25-21 in the first set and maintained their dominance in the second set, winning 25-18 after a strong offensive performance.
They then secured the third set and the match with a 25-13 victory.
Al Ahly will face CO Descartes of Côte d'Ivoire in the final group stage match of the African Championship on Friday.
